Essential tips for customers
- Think first about what you are buying
- Ask for advice if you are unsure
- Inspect goods carefully before buying them
- Keep all receipts for future reference
Goods cannot be returned if:
- You have simply changed your mind about the goods, or don’t like them any more
- You have since found you can buy them cheaper elsewhere
- There are obvious faults you should have spotted when you saw the goods prior to purchase
When returns can be made:
Note: In all cases, refunds or exchange vouchers will only be considered within 14 days of purchase, and you must provide proof of purchase via a receipt or invoice.
For misbound books or faulty goods:
- All misbound books will be exchanged in the first instance, or if not available a purchase refund will be given
- All faulty goods will be exchanged, or the purchase price will be refunded, if an exchange is not available.
For textbooks or teaching materials where you have withdrawn from a unit:
- You must have proof of withdrawal or exemption from the unit of study
- Books must be in original and resalable condition
On-line customers please note: if you wish to make a return, please contact the Bookshop and seek prior approval. You may be responsible for any return postal charges
